Spring Valley epitomize what a funeral experience should be. Our initial call with Kennedy helped put us at ease and made choosing Spring Valley for my Brother's service an easy choice. She was empathetic and helpful with every question and concern we had. Patiently going over the process and options with us, instead of leaving us feeling like we had to wait for them to get us in the door so they could make a sales pitch. Once we were there the rest of the staff continued with this treatment. You could tell the director was more concerned with providing us with the service my brother would have wanted instead of using our grief to go beyond his wishes. Everything was beautiful and they paid attention to the little details. I cannot fully express our gratitude to everyone at Spring Valley for helping us every step of the way. Your kindness and care means the world to me and my family.

As a family, we sat down with the director of the funeral home and planned out a funeral. HE GAVE US THE DATES AND TIMES, but the very next day he changed the dates. He gave us a book and told us this page is with the package everything else is $500 more. We wanted gloss rather than flat black for the casket.. when we asked for the gloss that we was just told was 500 more he tells us oh that one is 799 more..... they need to take that extra 299 and get a new proper working doorknob. They messed the obituary up several times, starting with the wrong date of birth, but listing funeral times wrong. Wrong pictures used, not using the music that was requested for the services. Not listing family members the way that was requested and so much more. There's a HOLE in the floor just big enough for the heel of a boot to go through. I know this because my boot got caught in it and I FELL! Picking up the slideshow disk has been like pulling teeth. Good luck getting a text back when trying to reach out to someone. The best part about it all, once we got to the cemetery the funeral home man who drove the hearse had the nerve to say "people need to leave now! Get these cars moved" literally the minute the preacher walked away from reading a Bible verse. They're very unprofessional and unorganized. I 100% would NEVER recommend them. If this is the ONLY funeral home available when I die, yall, my family better just have my funeral in my back yard and take me to the cemetery from there. Don't put my body in these peoples hands.

Anthony was wonderful. My brother and I were so overwhelmed with planning the funeral of our mother. He answered every question, and jumped in and took care of everything. He really made the process easy and my mom looked really good the day of her funeral. The only reason I didn't rate at five stars is because the music we selected was not played. But other than that, Anthony was great and I do recommend using his services.
